Dun dun dun DUUUUHHH - It’s the Oh Boysies! We discuss the best of the best, the worst of the worst, and the Scottiest of the Bakulas. Who wins? Who loses? Has Kristen been shrunk by a sorcerer and trapped in a small glass bottle? (On an unrelated note, apologies for the technical difficulties resulting in Kristen sounding like she’s been shrunk and trapped in a small glass bottle.)
This episode features Sam leaping into a detective in 1953, who for some reason looks like Humphrey Bogart. He also falls desperately in love with a lady from the past, and has a nerdy sidekick. But, most importantly: who is the Dropper named Clapper?!
Sam leaps into 1961, and into the body of a young man who has to stop his sister from marrying a really terrible guy. This episode includes drag racing, Jason Priestley, and an ending that leaves Kristen and Leete pretty darn speechless. (And yet, they keep talking about it. Huh.)
In this episode, Sam leaps into the South in 1955, where he experiences racism through the eyes of an older black gentleman. We’re going to be honest, this was a really tough one to watch. But we also talk about tasty, tasty egg salad sandwiches. Can we make some eggs? I’m going to go make some eggs. Brb.
CW: Discussion of racism; descriptions of racist events/actions that occur on this episode of Quantum Leap.
In this episode, Kristen and Leete tune in as Sam leaps into 1965 (and a whole lot of mafia drama). He also gets to show off his excellent singing skills.
A bizarre competition on a farm. A very tense game of poker. A delightful pig named Piggy. Kristen and Leete go on a journey with Sam and Al to Texas in the 50’s.
Well, Sam leaps into the body of a boxer in this episode…but really it’s all about his adorable girlfriend, Dixie. Why didn’t Dixie win the Oscar? Why didn’t Dixie win the Emmy? Why isn’t Dixie Kristen and Leete’s best friend? All questions that won’t be addressed in this episode. Enjoy!
Romeo and Juliet. Lancelot and Guinevere. Bakula and Hatcher. Romance is in the air on this episode of Quantum Leap, and Leete and Kristen are having none of it. Listen to this podcast when the moon crests over Camelot, and - oh, just forget it.
Can Sam fly that plane and save the day? Will Tim Fox hit a home run? Is Mikey a ghost? Leete and Kristen find the answers to all this and more as they watch the second part of the Quantum Leap Pilot.
Kristen and Leete “fly” in to Quantum Leap by watching the first half of the “pilot” episode: Genesis, Part 1. In case you haven’t noticed, this episode is about an airplane pilot. Get it? “Fly”? “Pilot”?
Leete and Kristen have a quick chat before sitting down to watch the pilot episode of Quantum Leap. What lies in store for these two dorks? Stay tuned for the podcast’s launch on Friday, January 4th, 2019, to find out!
